About Us

Workforce Chemistry is led by founder Marirose Steigerwald. With a passion for making work meaningful while building high performance organizations, her innovative methods of inspiring people and organizations forms the foundation of the company's services. Workforce Chemistry was founded in 2005 to develop the human side of business through effective leadership development, executive leadership training, job benchmarking and selection of employees for the right roles, and keynote addresses.
With over 20 years experience in human resources, Marirose has worked in large and small companies, both public and private, and has executive leadership experience in a mid-sized engineering consulting firm. Throughout her career, Marirose recognized that some individuals made it look "easy" - naturally leading and managing employees under their care. In her research, she discovered that there are certain attributes that great leaders exhibit - some which are natural in their own "chemistry" and others which can be learned and developed.
A graduate of UNC-Greensboro, where she majored in Communication Studies and minored in Psychology, Marirose holds certifications in behavior and motivator analysis tools, is certified as a Strategic Attraction™ Planner, and is a member of the ONE: The Art and Practice of Conscious Leadership community.
She has served in a leadership capacity in a number of organizations, including UNC-G School of Business, Greater Raleigh NAWBO, Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women, Our Lady of Lourdes School, and Cardinal Gibbons High School. Dedicated to serving her community, Marirose is involved in Women Against Multiple Sclerosis and Strike for Survival, an annual bowling event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
Marirose lives in Raleigh, North Carolina and is happily married to Steve, has 3 children, a dog, a rabbit and two turtles.
